Fiddling with Photoshop

I got a copy of Photoshop Elements 6 a while back and have finally gotten to sit down and play with it tonight. I used some pictures I took of Tommy at the playground earlier this week as fodder. Online tools like picnik are great, but I found Photoshop’s ability to apply lighting […]

A sensational flavor combination

Tommy’s spilled some ketchup in his yogurt. And ate it. Twice.

Reminds me of how Reeses peanut butter cups got started:

A future Dr. Alan Grant

Tommy and I excavated a dinosaur skeleton buried in rock. The rock happened to be chalk and the bones happened to be plastic, but he didn’t seem to mind.

We’re going to name him Howard

We built a robot duck from a kit the other day.

Raw Zooage!

We went to the zoo on friday for my birthday.

Thea got a kick out of just about everything.

Tommy led the way most of the time and thought long and hard about which way to go.

He also led me through some tight spaces on the jungle floor.

And it appears to be the tank from Heavy Weapon, which we’ve played a couple times on XBLA. He’s quite fond of the Mega Laser.

and here’s the real deal:

We’d have had to kick him out of the house eventually if he hadn’t turned out to be a Popcap fan, so this is good […]

Photo Shoot

Kind of reminds me of that painting of the creation of Adam…

Except Thea isn’t a middle-aged, naked, man. And Tommy, despite his best efforts, is not God.

This was a triumph.

Tommy recently discovered one of my valve-store purchases.

T: What’s this, daddy?
Me: That’s a Cube.
T: What kind of cube?
Me: A Companion Cube.
T: What does it do?
Me: It loves you. See? It has hearts on it. It cannot speak.
T: Cool.
