‘chup

I had no idea how much our family relies on ketchup until this weekend when we ran out of it.

Lindsey’s diet these days consists mainly of rice, potatoes and beans. And the potatoes usually take the form of hash browns or sometimes fries, both of which require ‘chup. No, she can’t eat them without it. It’s in our wedding vows.

Tommy has been known to eat ketchup straight through a straw. He has also dipped into it such things as raisins, carrot sticks, and banana chips.

And while I don’t usually require ketchup quite as much as those two, it just so happened that this sudden ketchup shortage occurred on one of the approximately three days a year I actually cook meat at home.

I ended up dipping my burger in mustard instead, and Tommy settled on some left over shells n cheese in the fridge. I don’t think Lindsey ate anything at all.

Yummy ketchup

  1. Ketchup IS a food group in our house. The moment we break out the last bottle, we buy the backup.
