Lindsey and I have become addicted to the joyful timesink that is Desktop Tower Defense.

It’s a simple flash game in which you position different “towers” around a map (that looks like a desktop) and try to prevent swarms of “creeps” from crossing from one side of the map to the other.  Destroying creeps gives you more gold, which you can spend on more towers, or upgrades to existing ones.  It sounds silly, and indeed the graphics and sound aren’t competing with Half Life 2, but this game is addictive.  Lindsey has even published some of her winning maps.  Go play now!
