Chock full
I took some time off last week and “accomplished” a few things.
On Monday I finished both Half Life and Half Life 2, bagging the award for longest amount of time spent completing video games in the wrong order.
On Tuesday, I installed Windows Vista / Longhorn beta 1 (from MSDN) only to find it so slow that it was completely unusable. I guess I won’t be upgrading any time soon.
Thursday I was able to get some bicycling in. I rode 20 miles down into Nebraska — the most I have done since Tommy was born (I can’t remember anything before then). I took this nifty picture while having a rest under the bridge.
On Friday, Tommy and I went to the zoo.
Later that day, he had his first veggie burger. Lindsey was very proud.
Later still, John and I did some hiking along the horse trails outside of Yankton. I hadn’t been out there in years.
