So long, adenoids. Hello, Wabasha…and Cindy?
Tommy had his adenoids out and new tubes put in his ears last Wednesday morning. That translated into a lot of daddy daycare, but luckily he’s doing great. I had no idea his operation would be an outpatient procedure. I was very impressed at how quickly everything went. We arrived at the hospital at 7:30 AM and were home a little after 10:00 AM. Tommy was running around the house screaming (albeit a little hoarse) as usual by that afternoon. His voice took the longest to recover, but he was more than ready to hang out with his cousins that weekend.
We are preparing to go to North Carolina on Thursday. I hope we get there before Cindy does, but it doesn’t look too promising right now.
