Culinary Photoshop

I had something cooking on my laptop on Tuesday….actually it was under my laptop.

Long story short: I’m sitting in my office. I need to heat up some tortillas. I have a microwave, but that would make them sticky, so what do I do? My LCD monitor doesn’t get too hot, so that was out as an option, and my CRT monitor was off. Then it hit me.

I have a gateway laptop.

Quite possibly the greatest source of BTU’s in North America, gateway laptops make wonderful tortilla warmers. I stacked five tortillas under the warmest part of the laptop (the thermodynamic cesspool that is the Mobile Pentium 4). Now, even a gateway laptop doesn’t go from zero to toasty instantaneously, so I fired up a few instances of photoshop. That did the trick.

Kind of reminds me of that episode of Mr. Wizzard when he cooked hot dogs by sticking them in the ground on a hot day.
