So…who’s been looking at Venus?
I’ve spent a lot of time looking at this site trying to find pictures of aliens. Mars has gotten a lot pf press recently, but what about that other nearby, sort-of-earthlike planet? After digging around, I found this site which has all sorts of information about the Soviet Venus missions. The US sent some probes and snapped some pictures from obrit, but the Soviets actually put a few landers on the surface. These landers survived on the surface just long enough to send back a few images, before succumbing to Venus’ harsh lifestyle. I had no idea “planetary imaging” or whatever you call it was such an involved process.
